Unblocking SSO

When your Sign-in is blocked, this means your authentication method needs to be set up.

Steps to unblock your sign-in:

Step 1

Make sure you have the Citrix_VPN_Access permission from whitepages.

If you do not have Citrix_VPN_Access, please see the link and steps below to apply. –

Log on to https://whitepages.sso.vodacom.co.za/idmdash/#/landing
Please select “Access” and then Request and then New Request

In the permissions section, please copy and paste the following resource name and select the resource tab that pops up just below the data entry area - Citrix_VPN_Access

Please capture your motivation in the “Reason” field e.g. To access the Vodacom remote desktop.
When the “Request” button becomes available, please select “Request” at the bottom left of the screen once all data has been captured correctly.
You are DONE 🏆

Step 2

Go to https://storefront2fa.vodacom.co.za/ and download the Citrix App on your laptop or mobile device. Once the download is complete, click on the Citrix App icon in your downloads or go to the Citrix URL and log in using your whitepages username and password. Enter the OTP that will be sent to your registered cell number.

An OTP will be sent to your registered cell number, enter that OTP, and SUBMIT

As soon as the OTP is accepted, you will get the storefront homepage - please select the desktop icon at the top and then select Remote Desktop.

Click on Secure Remote Desktop or see below,

Click on DESKTOPS and then select Secure Remote Admin

Step 3

The Remote Desktop will be redirected to the Vodacom Remote Desktop

Enter your whitepages password.

Select the browser of your choice, Chrome or EDGE etc

Step 4

Enter your vcontractor email and whitepages password – NEXT – to log in to Microsoft Mysign-in

Step 5

Click on Security info and add the Sign-in method,

Click on Add sign-in method

• Authenticator App, or

• Phone – OTP via SMS.

Select the method and click on ADD

Select the country - South Africa and then add the cell number for the user.

See the cell number format below - then click on NEXT

An OTP will be sent to the cell number for the user - request the user to send the code

The user will send the code and then you enter the code to set up the new authentication method.

When the user needs to log in to VAMS - he will receive the OTP Code and use it to authenticate the sign-in.

You can choose the App – please download the App of your choice.

Login to the 2FA and set up a new work or school account using your vcontractor email account and whitepages password and link the App either by the QR Code or pin key.

You can also choose to use the phone and receive OTP SMS to authenticate your login.

Select the country South Africa and enter the cell number in the format shown above (61 546 7860) and not 061…… or +27 61…. formats. You will receive the OTP on the same cell number. Enter the OTP and click DONE.

Once this is set - your sign-in will be unblocked.

Step 6

Kindly ensure that you are using an Android device with software version 6 or above that supports Google Services as well as a fingerprint reader or iOS V13+.

Please ensure that only one fingerprint is enrolled in your phone before you log in to the VAMS App.

If you log in without a single fingerprint the App will malfunction.

If you add more than 1 fingerprint, the App will malfunction.

Please download the VAMS App using the above link. Please press the red "Install trueSA Vodacom Access App".

Once downloaded, go to your notification bar by pulling down from the top of your screen and clicking on the downloaded APK files.

You can then follow the prompts to install the App.

Login to the VAMS App using the vcontractor email and whitepages password - an OTP will be sent to your cell - use that to authenticate your login OR if you set up the Microsoft 2FA App - a number will show on your VAMS App e.g., 79, go to your Microsoft 2FA App and enter the same number to authenticate your login.
