How to gain access to VAMS app - Vodacom Access Management Solution
Prerequisites -
1 - All users need to have registered on IRS or IRS-P (WhitePages) and be pre-vetted. (Vetting results captured on CiiMs)
2 - Phones with Android 6+ and (iOS V13+ available soon) are supported.
3 - Phones must support: - Biometrics such as fingerprint or face. - Bluetooth BLE Interface compatible with lock vendors. - Google Play Services for Android Phones (Android phone brands that do not support Google Play should be avoided).
4 - Users must upload ONLY their fingerprints. One fingerprint is allowed per phone. If multiple biometrics have been preloaded, delete all and start again.
5 - During enrolment, a strong Wi-Fi/4 G connection is required.
6 - User Smart ID Card, ID book, or Passport is required.
7 - Ensure sufficient lighting in a well-lit room while scanning documents and capturing selfies.
8 - Fully charged phones with sufficient data are essential if there is no WIFI.
9 - The phone must be capable of receiving Email or SMS to download the Vodacom Access Management Solution (VAMS).
10 - Abloy Cliq: Update existing and new keys with the Cliq Key firmware at a Vodacom regional office.
11 - Abloy Cliq: Bluetooth firmware and the key is updated at the regional office. Once done, delete the Cliq App and do not reinstall it.
12 - Abloy Cliq: Cliq keys are to be paired with the Vodacom Access Management Solution. Strictly only one set per user.
13 - a Vodacom requirement is 2FA Authenticator (e.g. Microsoft Authenticator) which must be installed and set up prior to onboarding.
